WOUC and the Pastoral Care Committee are hosting a showing of “Atrocity” On Saturday Nov. 1st at 1:30 pm. A documentary, made by retired police sergeant Nigel Stuckey, that gives voice to London’s most vulnerable individuals, shedding light on addiction, homelessness and mental health issues.

A free-will offering will be received and light refreshments will be served following the showing of this documentary. Plan on attending this event. Watching this documentary will be an eye opener and will change your view of everything it speaks to.

Silent Auction Item: 4 London Knight tickets

We are auctioning 4 club seat tickets to the Friday December 12, 2025 at 7:00 pm game against the Saginaw Spirit. These tickets have been graciously given to us by Dave and Christie Mullen and A. Millard George Funeral Home.

So… do you know of a family with children who love the London Knights and might like a chance to go to this game? or Do you know of any college or university students who would love to see a hockey game? Then, this is your opportunity to place a bid. If you are the winning bidder then you could give these tickets to a deserving family or students or you could go the game with your friends.

Coffee Fellowship

Broadview Chat & Lunch

The Broadview discussion group is a component of the Adult Christian Education Program here at White Oaks United Church. Broadview Magazine is affiliated with the United Church of Canada. We share our perspectives and challenge our faith on the issues of Spirituality, Justice and Ethical Living.
If you would like to share your thoughts on the issues in Broadview, you are welcome to join us here at White Oaks on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month in the Jim Peden Hall from 11:00 to 12:30 pm. Bring a bagged lunch

Choir

Choir Practice

Add your voice to our choir, Thursday evenings from Sept-June, at 7:30 pm. The choir practices each week for the upcoming worship services.  Contact Carol Schulze or Laurie McAndrew.

Beaver, Cub and Scout Groups

Cub Scouts is the Cub Scout section of Scouts Canada for children aged from 8 to 10. Originally the “Wolf Cubs,” the program offers badges to youth members as a mark of achievement in an interest area.

They currently meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 – 8:30pm and every boy in this age group is welcomed to join in. We only have the Beaver and Cub Groups meeting at this time. There is no Scouting group. For more information, please contact Brenda Keasey Harter at 226-688-4844.

 Craft Group

Join us on the third Saturday of the month from 9:30am – 12:00pm with this interesting group of crafters. Fresh new craft ideas are welcomed.  Snacks are provided.  Contact Beth Lapierre for more information.

Pizza & Movie Night

Join us on the first Saturday of each month from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Cost is $7.00 per person which covers the pizza, a salad, drinks, ice cream and a movie. Voting for a movie takes place at the entrance, and the winner is shown after dinner. You need to sign up with the church office so that we order enough pizza. What a great night out! Come and join the fun.
